From the President
It is with great pleasure and joy that I have accepted the position as President of Mount Zion. The strong spiritual foundations of this institution will remain while moving ahead with this new season at Mount Zion.
The wind of change has arrived on campus and it is stirring all of us. The word that is resounding in my heart is the word “Freedom”—and we are hearing about it in chapel and experiencing it in our fellowships. This freedom means allowing the Holy Spirit to go deep into our hearts to bring down personal strongholds and release us to grow in faith. It means to fully understand the New Covenant that is ours in Jesus; it means to be made truly useful in service for the body of Christ.
Students at Mount Zion are also receiving the challenge to be a spiritual army. David’s mighty men could fight with their left hand as well as their right hand. They could fight in their weaknesses and in their strengths. The Lord will do this same type of training here in our midst.
I am proud of the quality of teaching and administrative staff that serve here at this school. They are as committed as I am to providing a truly spiritual atmosphere in which to grow and learn.
I am excited about the days ahead. Please join us in prayer for this school that young people will be raised up strong in their faith and unshakeable throughout the days we are living in. I am convinced that for believers and for Mount Zion, the very best is yet to come.
In His Service,
Pastor Teresa Conlon
President
