Bible
AC222 Acts - 2 Unit Hours
As they delve into the book of Acts, one of the most exciting books of the Bible, students will study the birth and growth of the church of Jesus Christ. Other topics which will be studied in this course are as follows: the Holy Spirit’s empowering and infilling of the church on the Day of Pentecost, the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit through yielded and broken vessels, the building of His church through the apostles, the geographical spread of the Gospel, and Paul’s pattern of ministry and his missionary journeys in context with the culture and times in which he lived.
BD112, BD122 Bible Doctrines - 4 Unit Hours
As they systematically study the Word of God in its entirety, students will learn the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. This course explores topics such as the inspiration and infallibility of the Word of God, the nature of God, the Trinity, the deity of Jesus, the fall and salvation of man, the atoning work of Christ, the justification of the believer, the sanctification of the believer, the person of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the baptism of water, healing, and tithing.
DR323 Daniel/Revelation - 3 Unit Hours
In a world that is fascinated by the study of the end times, it is necessary to have a solid biblical understanding of eschatology. The foundation and key to understanding God’s final plan for mankind is found within the pages of Daniel and Revelation. This course will enhance the student’s understanding of the consummation of the ages by taking a balanced approach to these two apocalyptic books.
EP122 Epistles of Paul - 2 Unit Hours
The life of the apostle Paul will be studied in depth as the students explore his epistles. Some of the objectives of this class are the following: to study the letters Paul penned under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to learn the purpose of Paul’s letters, to research Paul’s theological and doctrinal stances, and to understand the relevance his writings have in our present-day walk with God.
GE212 General Epistles - 2 Unit Hours
Students embark on a challenging and provoking, detailed study of the general epistles as they discuss these major themes: practical Christianity, historical facts, and doctrinal issues. In addition, they will also gain an awareness of God’s expectations of the Christian’s lifestyle as set forth by the Holy Spirit and declared by the inspired writers.
GO121 Gospels - 1 Unit Hours
Students study in detail the life and ministry of Jesus Christ as presented in the Gospels, including the world in which Jesus lived and ministered, and the spiritual truths that are revealed through His teachings and ministry.
HT322 Hebrews/Typology - 2 Unit Hours
To fully understand and comprehend the magnitude and breadth of Christ’s sacrificial death at Calvary one must gain an understanding of the foreshadowing of that work found within the Old Covenant. The Book of Hebrews is the key that unlocks the door of Old Testament types and shadows. This course will enable students to see Christ throughout the Old Testament and uncover the marvelous person of Christ found in typology by studying the Book of Hebrews.
MM122 Major/Minor Prophets - 2 Unit Hours
The chronological overview of the major and minor prophetic books of the Bible, as given in this class, will give students in this class a greater insight into each prophet’s life and message, in context with both the times in which he lived and with the overall purposes of God.
NT123 New Testament Survey - 3 Unit Hours
This study is designed to enhance the student’s understanding of the New Testament as he/she studies topics such as the following: the origin of the New Testament, its historical reliability and intertestamental history, life in the Roman world, background study and authorship, a survey and breakdown of each book, and the purposes and messages of each book.
OT113 Old Testament Survey - 3 Unit Hours
Students will be enriched in their understanding of the Old Testament and its relevance for today. The course includes topics such as these: background and authorship study, a survey and breakdown of each book, and the purposes, messages, and typology of each book.
PE112 Pentateuch - 2 Unit Hours
Students will gain an overall understanding of the first five books of the Old Testament and a revelation of the heart of God toward mankind from the book of Genesis through the book of Deuteronomy.
PR112 Proverbs - 2 Unit Hours
Students will glean the spiritual truths and principles relevant to daily living found in the book of Proverbs; in addition, they will also study the background of the author and the purpose of the book.
PS122 Psalms - 2 Unit Hours
In this class, students will study various aspects of the book of Psalms including the life of the psalmist David, types of Psalms, the history of Psalms, typology and symbolism found in the Psalms, and revelation obtained through expository study.
RO322 Romans - 2 Unit Hours
Through the centuries the Book of Romans has served as a catalyst to propel many believers into a life of freedom and victorious living. Through an intense study of the Book of Romans, students will uncover the life changing power that lies within its pages and experience the same freedom and victory that many saints have found there as well.
Christian Education
CE112 Child Evangelism - 2 Unit Hours
Students are introduced to the basic principles and spiritual responsibilities of teaching children from age two to elementary-aged children. Some of the topics covered in this course include the following: the study of children, the study of age-group characteristics and skills, the appropriate teaching and learning activities for each age group, and the methods and means by which they are taught.
DT321 Discipleship Training - 1 Unit Hour
For three years Jesus trained and taught His disciples and His final word to them was, “Go and make disciples of men teaching them everything that I have taught you”. Discipleship training is designed for the purpose of aiding students to fulfill this call by instructing them in how to disciple others.
EV112 Evangelism - 2 Unit Hours
Students are equipped and prepared with the tools they need to effectively share Jesus Christ and the message of the Gospel with those who do not know Him.
TM212, TM222 Teaching Methodology - 4 Unit Hours
Through this class, students will be equipped to effectively communicate with and teach others as they learn basic skills, methods, and resources that will enable them to have a balanced teaching ministry.
WM222 World Missions - 2 Unit Hours
Students gain an understanding of both world missions according to the Bible and the responsibility of the local church and the individual believer to fulfill the mandate of Christ - “Go ye therefore…” (Matthew 28:19).
Ministerial
HE112 Hermeneutics - 2 Unit Hours
Principles of proper Biblical interpretation, which will aid students as they diligently study the Word of God, are taught in this class.
HO212, HO222 Homiletics - 4 Unit Hours
Studying the relevance and importance of preaching the Word of God will give the students a firm foundation for their future ministry responsibilities. They will learn to identify the various types of sermons, how to construct a sermon outline, and – the most important aspect of sermon preparation – prayer and personal application.
PM222 Pastoral Ministries - 2 Unit Hours
Students are developed in the area of godly leadership throughout the course of this class; they will become familiar with various elements of the administrative process including the organization and supervision of pastoral responsibilities such as weddings, funerals, communion services, and baptismal services.
PT212 Pastoral Theology - 2 Unit Hours
The Word of God has much to say about God’s plan and design for the leadership role of a pastor, the “shepherd of the sheep”. In this course, students will study topics such as these: the definition of a pastor that is after God’s own heart, the identification of the pastor’s strength and supply for ministry, how to balance the practical life with the spiritual life, how to administer church discipline, and the importance of prayer and discernment.

EN111, EN121 English (1st Year) - 2 Unit Hours
As they learn the fundamentals of English grammar and speech, students will improve their speaking and writing skills. (Each year students take an assessment test to determine if they are to be enrolled in this class.)

IT012, IT022 Italian (Elective - in language lab) - 2 Unit Hours
Students are introduced to the fundamentals of the Italian language solely through the use of the language lab. Topic of study include basic conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and some verb conjugation.
SP013, SP023 Spanish I (Elective) - 3 Unit Hours
Students are introduced to the basics of the Spanish language. Topics of study include basic vocabulary, sentence structure, some verb conjugations, and basic conversation.
SP012, SP022 Spanish II (Elective) - 2 Unit Hours
Students continue the basic instruction of the Spanish language. The emphasis is conversational Spanish where the student will further their knowledge of the Spanish language for preparation of visiting a Spanish-speaking nation.
General
CL211 Christian Literature - 1 Unit Hour
Students will read through Pilgim's Progress, as well as excerpts from other great Christian classics, gleaning truth and sharing what they have learned in class. The purpose of this class is to encourage, edify, and strengthen the students in their walk with God, and to develop an appreciation for the vast resources of Christian Literature that is at our disposal.
CH222 Church History - 2 Unit Hours
Students investigate and study the history of the church throughout the ages, from Pentecost to the present day. The highlights of this class will be the study of topics such as the following: the various ages of the church, the different stages of growth of the church, the formation of the Bible, the various erroneous doctrines, the martyrs and fathers of the church, and the progress of the church in the midst of persecution and in the midst of prosperity.
CO211, CO221 Computer - 2 Unit Hours
In this course, students will learn the basics of using a computer. They will learn the parts of the computer, and basic skills relebant to any workplace which uses a computer to complete various tasks. They will also learn word processing skills, slideshow presentation skills, graphics, newsletters, video and website production, etc. by completing various assignments which are geared to implement these skills.
CU212 Cults - 2 Unit Hours
Students study and receive an overview of major world cults and their belief systems throughout the world.
GU021 Guitar (Elective) - 1 Unit Hour
The fundamentals of the guitar, including tuning, basic chord progression, and basic strumming patterns are the focus of this class.
WR222 World Religions - 2 Unit Hours
There are many religions in the world today, and through this class the students will learn what these religions are and what they teach. The students will gain a greater understanding about Catholicism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, etc.
