Alumni Association
Beloved Alumni,
It is with great pleasure and joy that I have accepted the position as president of Mount Zion. Though unknown to many of you I look forward to keeping you informed of the news, events and changes that are coming in the next short while. Also, I hope to share with you, via this newsletter, what is on my heart concerning the vision and direction given by the Holy Spirit concerning the school.
The wind of change has arrived on campus and it is stirring us. The word that is resounding in my heart is the word: Freedom. We are hearing about it in chapel, we are experiencing it in events including two new fall events which have happened so far. The Lord is also repeating this theme of freedom in personal chapel time. In addition, I feel the Lord wants to make graduates of Mount Zion truly useful people; believers who are a blessing to the worldwide body of Christ in very practical and very spiritual ways. I look forward to sharing with you examples in the days ahead of how this is happening among the student body.
Lastly, I feel students at Mount Zion are receiving the challenge to be a spiritual army. David’s mighty men could fight with their left hand as well as their right hand. They could fight in their weaknesses and in their strengths. The Lord can do this same type of training here in our midst! I am excited about the days ahead. Please keep us in your prayers and I do hope you will stay in touch.
Blessings,
Pastor Teresa Conlon
