Admission Requirements For All Students

Below you will find the admission requirements for all students who desire to attend Mount Zion International School of Ministry:

  • Born-again believer in Jesus Christ
  • Completed application, reference forms, and recent photograph
  • Between the ages of 17 - 39
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Copy of transcript from high school, home school, college or GED certificate
  • Immunizations record (record of all immunizations which includes two MMR and three Hepatitis B)
  • Physical examination report (must be done within the last 12 months)
  • Copy of permanent residency card (if applicable)
  • $15 application processing fee (must accompany completed application)

Applicants are not accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.  Instead, each application is prayerfully considered by our admissions committee. Mount Zion International School of Ministry does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, national, or ethnic origin. Additional Requirements for:

Married Students

  • Married for at least one year
  • Submit a pastoral letter stating that their marriage is stable with no serious marital issues.

(Mount Zion International School of Ministry does not have on-campus housing available for married couples, therefore they must find accommodations off campus. Information regarding local housing is available upon request.)

International Students

International Students who are interested in applying to Mount Zion International School of Ministry must obtain their own support and travel visas before attending.


Personal Items Needed:

There are two students per dorm room, and each room is furnished with either wardrobes or small closets. Ironing boards are provided by the school, however the following items must be brought by the student:

  • Personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, laundry soap, shower shoes, etc.)
  • Bedding (twin-size sheets, blankets, pillows and pillowcases)
  • Desk Lamp
  • Small trash/waste basket
  • Towels
  • Iron
  • Hangers
  • Winter coat & boots
  • Umbrella
  • School supplies (notebook, paper, pens, etc.)
  • King James Version Bible
  • Concordance

Note: Students will not need an excess of clothing, as they will be wearing mandatory dress code, which is worn 5 days of the week. Furniture (including bean-bag chairs and inflatable furniture) and large trunks are not permitted.
